HOW TO FIX SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 STUCK IN DOWNLOAD MODE

The most common reason for people getting stuck in the download mode is during a bad software update or downgrade.
To solve the problem of being stuck in download mode, remove the battery from the device.
leave the battery pack out completely for about 2-3 minutes and reenter the battery pack once again.
Now your Samsung Galaxy S3 should boot up normally again.
Try booting your device back up in the download mode: completely switch it off by holding the Power key for 10 seconds, now reboot holding the Volume Down + Home + Power keys.
Wait until you get the warning screen and press the Volume Up button when it tells you on the display.
Now connect your device to the computer and download the firmware again. Use a trusted source such as Sam Mobile.
– here is the important part where you must find the right firmware for your device. You can identify this by looking at the model number. Go to the Settings > About Device > look at the model number of your device. Type that same model number into the firmware search field on the Sam Mobile website. Now you can use any of those software updates that have the same model number written on the file.
Download the Odin app from a trusted source.
Extract both packages on the desktop of the computer by right-clicking over the files and selecting the ‘extract here’ option from the menu.
Now open the Odin app and click the PDA/AP button.
Browse the desktop for the firmware update file.
Click the Start button and flash that firmware on your device.
Job done! Now your device should update without getting stuck in the download mode. If you were rooting, unrooting or installing a custom recovery and not updating, you can apply the same steps but use your unique file instead.
